Rabbi la tazarnee means My Lord do not leave me alone and You are the best of inheritors.

The dua is mentioned in Surah Al ANbiya verse 89:

وَزَكَرِيَّآ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِي فَرۡدٗا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ

And ˹remember˺ when Zachariah cried out to his Lord, “My Lord! Do not leave me childless, though You are the Best of Successors.”

anbiya

In this dua, Zakariya (peace be upon him) asked Allah not to leave him without a child or heir. He praised Allah, saying He is the best one to continue things after others pass away.

Allah, being Great, answered the prayer by giving him a righteous prophet named Yahya (peace be upon him) and blessed their wife with a child, even though she couldn’t have children before. This shows that Allah has the power to do anything in the heavens and on earth.
